Arad Mojtahedi

President

A few words from Arad…

Greetings John Abbott students!

My name is Arad Mojtahedi, and I am the current President of SUJAC, your Student Union. I graduated from Félix-Leclerc High School and I'm now a third year student in Double Dec of Science & Commerce here at John Abbott.

In the past years, I had the privilege of being elected two years in a row as a Student Representative on the Academic Council and I have served as a Congress member for a year. Humbled and grateful by the trust bestowed upon me, my past experiences allowed me to learn from mistakes, to work efficiently and most important of all, how to represent the interests of students, ensuring that your needs are met and your rights are respected. As the SUJAC President, I serve as the primary spokesperson of the student population. I am also responsible for leading and overseeing the overall operation of the Student Union, as well as assisting the Vice-Presidents in their various tasks.

I always have an urge to keep myself busy and to get involved. When I have free time, I love spending time with family and friends. My hobbies are photography, history, politics, travelling, movies, food, learning random facts, soccer, volleyball and squash.

In the end, remember that the only reason SUJAC exists is to serve you. So there is nothing we love more than having you visiting us and giving us your opinion, suggestions and feedback. So don't be shy, we can't wait to meet you.
