JACFA Executive

As President, Ute is responsible for all General Assemblies and Executive meetings. She is our representative for the FNEEQ Group Insurance plans, liaison with Academic Council and our Health and Safety representative. She also handles sick leaves. She should be contacted for daily Faculty Association business. Ute teaches in the Nursing Department.

Alex is our Internal Vice-President and Chief Labour Relations spokesperson with the College Administration. He is our grievance officer and handles labour relations issues. He is also in charge of leaves, pensions and FondAction. He teaches in the Mathematics Department.

Richard is the JACFA Treasurer, managing our funds and preparing the annual financial statement. He is also our Social Co-Director, with Julien. He teaches in the Mathematics Department.

Stephen is the JACFA Secretary, taking the minutes at our JACFA Executive meetings and General Assemblies. He is also the JACFA News editor. He teaches in the Geography Department.

Julien is our webmaster, and helps organizing JACFA's social events with Richard as our Social Co-Director. He teaches History in the History, Economics and Political Science Department.

Daniel is our External Vice-President and main JACFA delegate to FNEEQ and the CSN. He chairs the Quality Education Committee. He teaches in the French Department.

Mark handles Parental Rights issues, and is in charge of working on a Work-Family Balance Policy. He teaches in the Humanities Department.

Louise is our Administrative Assistant. Her office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday. Louise helps coordinate the day-to-day business of the association with the JACFA representatives and coordinates Faculty Lounge bookings. Contact her with any questions about our association.
