Stephen Bryce

Stephen Bryce (Chair)


Stephen has a DEC in Social Science from John Abbott College, as well as a B.A. (Honours) and an M.A. in Geography from McGill University in Montréal, QC.


His teaching and research interests include the development and changing nature of suburban landscapes, the political geography of Québec nationalism and the Middle East, the political ecology of global warming and the history of geographical thought.


Stephen has worked at John Abbott College since August 1991. He also taught at Champlain Regional College in  St. Lambert, QC and at Vanier College in Montréal. He served on the Executive of the John Abbott College Faculty Association from 1995 to 2011 and 2012-2013. He is currently the chair of the Geosciences Department.
